Chapter IV - Section 33

Uses Not Itemized

Upon petition or on its own initiative, the Board of County Commissioners may by resolution, after Planning Commission review, add to the uses listed for a zoning district any other similar use which conforms to the following special conditions:

    l.   Such use conforms to the basic characteristics and purposes of the zone district to which it is to be added.

    2.   If there are zones to which the use would be more or equally as appropriate, such use shall also be added to those zones.

Before finally adopting any such amendment, the Board of County Commissioners shall hold a public hearing thereon, and at least thirty (30) days notice of the time and place of which shall be given by at least one publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the county.
