APPROVAL OF LOCATION
COLORADO SPRINGS AIRPORT STOCKPILE FACILITY

A request by the Colorado Springs Airport for approval of location to operate a stockpile facility. The 9.33-acre parcel is zoned I-2 (Limited Industrial District) and is located approximately one-quarter of a mile southeast of the Powers Boulevard and Highway 24 interchange. The applicant, on behalf of Colorado Springs Utilities, proposes to expand the existing three (3) acre stockpiling operation to allow an additional 4.1 acres of stockpile area. Request by Little London, LLC, for preliminary plan approval of the Highland Park Filing 3 development. The 162.61-acre parcel is in the RR-2.5 (Residential Rural District) zone district and is located approximately one-half mile southwest of the intersection of Vollmer Road and Poco Road. The applicant is proposing to subdivide this parcel into thirty-seven (37) single-family lots with a minimum lot size of 2.5 acres. 5. LDC-10-002 GEBHART
LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE AMENDMENT

Request by the Development Services Department to revise the Land Development Code through the repeal of the Temporary Regulations Regarding Medical Marijuana Land Uses Within Unincorporated El Paso County and the creation and definition of a new allowed use in certain zoning districts. The temporary regulations were approved December 17, 2009 by Board of County Commissioners Resolution 09-469 and extended (with minor revision) June 10, 2010 by Board of County Commissioners Resolution 10-230. The proposed revisions would add a new definition and provide that a Medical Marijuana Land Use is an Allowed Use in four (4) zoning districts (CS, C1, C2, M). Previous development standards for a medical marijuana land use will be incorporated into a new licensing program to be established by the Board of County Commissioners. The revisions would only go into effect in the event that the licensing program and licensing regulations are approved and implemented. (LDC-10-002)
