VARIANCE RENEWAL
COTRELL CMRS VARIANCE RENEWAL

Request by Bruce Cottrell and Skye Stevens for variance of use approval. The 4.9-acre parcel is zoned RR-5 (Residential Rural District) and is located approximately one-half mile north of the intersection of Powers Boulevard and Stetson Hills Road. The applicant is proposing to renew a variance of use for an 80-foot monopole and associated ground equipment, previously approved with VA-97-001. Request by Verizon Wireless on behalf of Joe and Lynn Myers for special use approval.of a stealth CMRS facility.  The 19.46-acre lot, known as Lot 1, Stillman Subdivision, is zoned RR-5 (Residential Rural District) and is located immediately northeast of the intersection of Hodgen Road and Goshawk Road. Request by Kevin and Elena Torphy for approval of a minor subdivision.  The 40-acre parcel is zoned RR-5 (Residential Rural District) and is located west of Interstate 25 and the Town of Monument, adjacent to east of Pike National Forest, at the far south end of Fallon Road, which is accessible via Evans Drive.  The request includes platting three (3) residential lots, two tracts, and a 70-foot dedicated right-of-way.  The parcel is included within the boundaries of the Tri-Lakes Comprehensive Plan area.  (Schedule No. 71000-00-273) (MS-09-002)

A request by High Winds Youth, Inc., for Rural Land Use Plan Overlay District (RLUP-O) zoning approval. The three (3) parcels, totaling 141.90 acres, are zoned A-5 (Agricultural District) and are located north of Highway 24, to the northeast of Crystola, adjacent to Pike National Forest on the east and west sides, and within the South one-half of the Northeast one-quarter and the West one-half of the Southeast one-quarter of Section 32, Township 12 South, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., El Paso County, Colorado.
