Request by Stephen J. Schnurr Living Trust as property owner for Use Subject to Special Review approval for Mineral and Natural Resource Extraction. This request also includes the expansion, both in size and production, of an existing mineral (sand and gravel) extraction operation (Sokol Pit) and adding a processing plant. The proposed 295-acre site is in the A-35 (Agricultural) District. The property is located at the corner of Soapweed Road and Washington Road, approximately ½ mile north of Judge Orr Road and is not within a comprehensive planning area.
