EL PASO COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE EMERGENCY SERVICES DIVISION ASSISTS WITH FOURMILE CANYON FIRE

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Division, (ESD), has sent personnel and resources to assist with the Fourmile Canyon fire near Boulder, Colorado.

A total of thirteen members of the Emergency Services Division have deployed to render assistance.  Eight of the members are from the Wildland Fire Crew; three are volunteers with the Special Communications Unit, (R.A.C.E.S.); and two are ESD staff members.

ESD has also deployed a type 6 engine, (light brush truck), and the USA Disaster Relief Corps Squad 16, which is a specialized communications vehicle.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is grateful to our volunteers and staff members who are willing to extend their time and expertise in support of Boulder County.
