Regulatory
Review Committee
The
Regulatory Review Committee is advisory to the Planning
Commission and Board of County Commissioners on suggested revisions
to the EL Paso County Land Development
Code which contains Zoning and Subdivision Regulations governing
the unincorporated area of the County.
Meetings
of the Regulatory Review Committee are held on the first Wednesday
of each month, on an "as needed" basis. The agenda is available
approximately one week in advance of the meeting.
Meetings
are normally held in the Planning Division's Conference Room,
Fifth Floor, County Office Building, 27 East Vermijo Avenue, Colorado
Springs, Colorado. They begin at 9:30 a.m.
Members
of this Committee are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.
Some terms (those representing various County departments/ entities)
are indefinite; others (representing various interest groups and
citizens at large) have a three-year duration. Terms usually expire
in May and vacancies are advertised in the Gazette-Telegraph.
The Regulatory Review Committee is governed by adopted Bylaws, Resolution
No. 96-57, General-24, adopted by the Board of County Commissioners
February 22, 1996, as well as Roberts' Rules of Order.
