Print

View

Displays
only the page (see the next 2 buttons). Because this button
is down in this example, it is this view that would be displayed. |

Displays
the page and the bookmarks created for that page. Click
on a bookmark to go to the section named in the bookmark.
If no bookmarks are available, none will be displayed. |

Displays
the page and the thumbnails created for that page. Click
on a thumbnail to go to the page marked by that thumbnail.
If no thumbnails are available, none will be displayed. |

Hand
Tool

When
selected, this tool will allow you to move the document around
on your screen. Select this tool, click on your document
and hold down the click button (your cursor will change from
a hand to a fist), and drag your mouse to position the page
as you desire. Release the click button. |

Zoom
|
|
|
 |
Magnifies
the document. Select the tool, then click on the document.
The document will be magnified by a factor of 2. Acrobat
will attempt to center the document on the spot on the page
where you clicked.
If
you wish to magnify a specific area of the page, click on
this Zoom-in tool, click and drag a rectangle around the area
you wish to have magnified.

Reduces
the magnification of the document. Select the tool, then
click on the document. The magnification of the document
will be reduced by a factor of 2. |

Use
this tool to select a section of text (click on the tool button,
click and drag a rectangle around the text you wish to select).
This text can be copied onto the Clipboard and pasted into some
other document. |

Navigation
|

 |
Use
these buttons to go to either the previous or the next page
within the Acrobat (pdf) document.
Do
not confuse these with your browser's "back" and
"forward" buttons that will take you out of the
Acrobat (PDF) document.

these buttons to go to either the first page or the last page
within the Acrobat (PDF) document. |

Use
these buttons to retrace your steps within the Acrobat (PDF)
document, either backward or forward. |

Document
View
|
|
|
 |
Sets
the Zoom factor for the document to 100%. |

Fits
the entire page of the document inside the window. |

Sizes
the document to fill the entire width of your window.
Holding
down the Option (Macintosh) or Control (Windows) key while
clicking this button fills your window with only the visible
text and graphics on the page (i.e., eliminates the white
space on the edges).

Find
|
|
|
|
Selecting
the left button allows you to type in a word(s) and have Acrobat
search the document for that word(s).
Selecting
the right button continues your search through the document
for your word(s).
